Thilde Vest (Norwegian and English)

Thilde Vest is knitted from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round in purl stitches and cables, until under the sleeves. There the work is divided into a back piece and a front piece, which are knitted separately. The shoulders and neckline are cast off before the shoulders are sewn together. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes, before finishing with a single twisted rib.

Gauage:
Needle 9: 13 sts = 10 cm cable knit
Needle 9: 9 sts = 10 cm purl stitch

Suggested yarn:
200g (250) 250 (300) 300 (350) grams Chunky Ballerina together with 250 (250) 400 (400) 450 (500) grams Alpaca wool from Sandnes garn

You can also use: Brushed Alpakka and Alpakka Wool, or Alpakka Linen and Fivel from Rauma.
