The Frej Sweater is knitted bottom-up. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles up to the armholes. Then the work is divided into front and back pieces, which are knitted back and forth separately. Stitches are cast off for the neckline on the front piece before the shoulders are grafted together. Stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are knitted top-down. Finally, ribbing is knitted around the neck opening.
