Thilde Sweater
Thilde Sweater (Norwegian and English)
Knitting pattern by Thea M
The Thilde Sweater is knitted from the bottom up. The body is knitted round and round in purl stitches and cables, to under the sleeves. There the work is divided into a back piece and a front piece, which are knitted separately. The shoulders and neckline are cast off before the shoulders are sewn together. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes, which are then knitted down in purl stitches before finishing with a single twisted rib. The sleeves are designed so that they can be rolled up for a relaxed and chunky look.
