Romy Shawl (Norwegian and English)

The shawl is knitted from the top down, starting at the centre of the neck and working outwards. It is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, with increases along both outer edges and on each side of the centre stitch. This creates a wide, gently curved shape that sits beautifully over the shoulders. The shawl is finished with a lace edge knitted sideways and joined to the live shawl stitches as you go. Knitted with Tynn Silk Mohair held double, the shawl is light, warm and romantic.

Suggested needles:
3.5 mm circular needles (80 cm and/or longer).

Gauge:
Needle 3.5 mm: 23 m = 10 cm.
