The Chérie Cardi is worked flat in stockinette with a sea foam lace hem. The body and button bands are worked in one piece to the armholes, where the work is divided into the back and two front pieces. The back is worked in stockinette to full length. The front pieces are shaped with evenly spaced decreases toward a rounded neckline, and the shoulders are joined using kitchener stitch for a neat finish. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette before finishing with a few rows of garter stitch.

Gauge:
5 mm needles: 18 sts = 10cm in stockinette stitch

Needles:
Circular needles 4.5 & 5 mm (40 and 80 cm) or double-pointed needles 4.5mm for sleeve cuffs

Suggested yarn:
Option 1: Bella By Permin. 50g = 145m (75% kid mohair, 20% wool and 5% polyamide)
Option 2: Chunky Mohair from Sandnes Garn. 50g = 135m (77% kid mohair, 18% wool and 5% polyamide).
